This large-scale cartoon series "Explore the Global Village" includes 5 seasons, and now 4 seasons have been completed. The program involves various fields of science. Every episode tells one scientific theory via a story about exploring the nature and finding science. The aim is to nurture the children’s good habits of identifying problem about themselves and asking, so that the children learn to love nature and love science.
In the Coral City under the sea, there lived a group of children, who loved pursuing new things and exploring science theories. They were the students of Grade one in Bubble School. Except the regular schooling in daily time, they would like to bring the problems finding in nature, or some common knowledge issues from daily life into their class. The class sponsor, Ms. Crab was the “mastermind” is the pupils’ eyes. The pupils believed that however complicated the problem was, she could work it out without difficulty.
During the process of identifying and exploring the science, all pupils learnt much knowledge. They knew that the large quantity of corals in the Coral City they lived was produced by one kind of animal; they also ascertained the secrets of submarine, hovercraft and hot-air balloon. They understood that there were horrible earthquake, hurricane and pollution of red tides in the world besides so many wonderful and nice things; they were also lucky enough to witness the grandness and beautifulness of the most magnificent sights as meteoric shower, rainbow and mirage on the sea. They were keen to learn more about the ocean, the remote mainland and the sky, even the much broader universe …
大型三维动画系列片《探索地球村》共5部，目前已出品4部，每部20集，每集15分钟。内容涉及不同的科学领域，每集通过一个探索自然，发现科学的故事，引出一个科学道理，培养孩子们善于发现身边的问题，爱问“为什么”的良好习惯，让孩子们从小树立热爱大自然，热爱科学的观念。
在海底的珊瑚城里，住着这样一个喜欢追求新鲜事物、探索科学道理的群体，他们是泡泡学堂一年级的学生，除了日常的文化课学习之外，他们还把生活中发现的各种自然界的或常识问题带到课堂上，班主任螃蟹老师是学生们眼中的“智多星”，无论多么难的问题，在她那儿都能迎刃而解。
在发现和探索科学的过程中，大家懂得了很多知识，他们知道了每天生存的这座珊瑚城里的那么多的珊瑚礁原来竟是一种动物；他们探知到了潜水艇，气垫船，热气球的奥秘；他们明白了世上不仅有灿烂美好的事，竟然还有可怕的地震、台风、赤潮污染等灾难存在；他们也有幸见识到了流星雨、彩虹、海市蜃楼等天下奇观的壮美。他们希望更深入地了解海洋，遥远的陆地和天空，甚至更广阔的宇宙……
