Initiated by Chinese Tea Circulation Association and Hong Kong Sunlight TV station, Chinese Tea Introduction devotes to the promotion and spread of the excellent Chinese tea culture. It is a full-length TV documentary about tea travel with some Chinese famous tea travel experts and well-known learners as masterminds. In this documentary the traditional tea culture is complementary with special folk customs. Therefore audience can enjoy a visual feast of green tea.

China is the hometown of tea which has the long history and rich culture resources. Chinese tea culture originated thousands of years ago and it has an active and deep influence on the world.

Habits of drinking tea in many places on the earth all nearly originated from China. With culture as the base and travel as the driving power, the documentary promotes the idle philosophy of harmonious relation between human and the nature and a sense of fashion and simple.

Tea is the main clue of the program. Combining ingeniously abundant culture details and travel elements together, the documentary becomes charming scenery showing traditional Chinese tea culture and modern relaxing life style with profuse cultural connotation and colorful region specialties.

The shooting crew covers more than thirty counties where tea mainly grows, namely Zhejiang, Guizhou, Henan, Anhui and other provinces. They went to the minority areas to shoot the documentary in order to exhibit the unique local tea folkway and folk customs.
